Room & Linen Sprays

Using a 2 oz glass or PET plastic spray bottle, fill with 1.5 oz distilled water or prefered hydrosol, 0.5 oz of 190-proof alcohol (Everclear) and up to 24 drops of essential oil.

Recipes

  • Refreshing Salt Bath Combine various salts and clay; add 1/3 cup per bath, try combining the salt blend a tablespoon of carrier oil and a drop or two of your favorite, soothing essential oil

    • 1/4 cup pink Himalayan salt

    • 1/4 cup Epsom salt

    • 1/8 cup Celtic Sea salt

    • 1/8 cup Persian blue salt or black lava salt

    • 1/8 cup baking soda

    • 1/8 cup bentonite or French clay

  • Peaceful Salt Scrub Use as exfoliating scrub, if using on face, substitute sugar in place of salt. Be sure to avoid getting water in the container

    • 1/2 cup finely ground sea salt

    • 1/2 cup of your favorite carrier oil (jojoba, almond, etc)

    • 1 Tbsp coarsely ground dried lavender and plantain (Plantago spp) blend

    • 12 drops mandarin (Citrus reticulata) essential oil

    • 8 drops lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) essential oil

  • Soothing Tea Bath Fill a muslin tea bag with dried herbs and toss it into the bathtub as you fill the tub, turning your bath water into a tea bath

    • 1 part dried lemon balm

    • 1 part dried calendula

    • 1 part dried lavender

  • Mellowing Aromatic Bath this is a stock blend, add a few drops into your bath water when needing a little extra help winding down & letting go

    • 3 drops mandarin (Citrus reticulata) essential oil

    • 3 drops bergamot (Citrus bergamia) essential oil

    • 1 oz of your favorite carrier oil (vanilla-infused jojoba oil, lavender-infused almond oil, etc)
